What if JavaScript Doesn't Work? After you have tried the options listed above (enable java in your browser) and then rebooted your computer, if your java applications still don't work, then come back to this page and Download Microsoft Virtual Machine for Internet Explorer Download
Microsoft's Virtual Machine After you have tried the options listed below (enable java in your browser) and then reboot your computer, if your java applications still don't work, then come back to this page and go to the Sun Microsystems Java web site and download the latest version of the Java Plug-in. (for Windows XP, Me, NT, 2000, 98, or 95)
DO NOT install both Microsoft Virtual Machine AND Sun's Java plug-in. If you downloaded and
installed both Microsoft Virtual Machine AND Sun's Java Plug-in, you may experience a conflict. This will appear as an irratic mouse pointer (when viewing virtual tours for example). In this case, go
to your Java Console (click the icon in your control panel) and disable java for Netscape or Internet Explorer. Or go to your Control Panel and remove Java Plug-in by clicking the Add/Remove Programs
icon. A Note to Netscape 4x users who have updated their browser online: If you have updated your Netscape Browser via Netscape's online upgrade option (rather then by CD-ROM), then you may experience java related problems. If so, use the NetscapeŽ Communicator 4.7 CD to reinstall Netscape. Then your java should work again. Another Netscape Tip: Sometimes if you can't get a 360° Virtual Tour rotating panorama java applet to work, you may need to close your browser or even reboot and then it should be fine. |
